CELEBRATION STORIES

CELEBRATION STORIES!

The Teen Challenge 2nd Annual Event at Bridgewater State University is truly a celebration story and an answer to prayer! Lets prayfully keep in mind that BSU is a secular campus and years ago, several groups (and some still today) have walked the campus while praying for the students and for the Inter - Varsity program!

The Teens exceeded their goal to collect funds for the Summer Camp Berea week! Thank you, to the generosity of our congregation! They especially had fun at Maggie and John Littlefield's Elm Street Farm as they joyfully worked during the pouring rain!

This celebration story started with an idea and a heart of compassion. God has multiplied Joanne Brindley's ministry (Homeless mats made out of plastic bags) over the past month! She now has 3 groups that meet at SSCC, one on Sunday mornings before church and two on Thursdays at the church office.  Several of the women from other businesses in our church office building have joined her!! Joanne also has support from the Chinese Church in Boston, Assemblies of God, Middleboro Pantry, Bridgewater Pediatrics and a Girl Scout Troop!

"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" Matthew 25:40
